I meant the 'taking control of Snikrot's arms' bit.

What they're suggesting isn't a mental takeover of his arm-functions; they're suggesting that Sollux use telekinesis to control Snikrot's arms. So Snikrot's resistance will have to be based on his Orkish strength rather than the power of the WAAAGH.

(You misspelled WAAAGH!, how dare you!)

Is there any data on how powerful these psychic abilities actually are? I'll compare them to Snikrot's alleged super strength.

Unfortunately Sollux has not yet entered the medium, so we haven't had a chance to see him fight. He did kill the most powerful psychic in the story(she decapitates a giant statue by waving her hand), but that was while under the influence of mind honey. It gives him frickin' laser beams!

What? Why?

Dunno. Maybe he does after a while, but when he eats it he does a pretty good cyclops impression: unstoppable lasers he has no control over shoot from his eyes. Oddly these were not present when he ate it while mind controlled, just blue and red electricity sparking around them.

That's because Vriska was controlling him, not himself.  He has no control.

I figured he could control himself except for the eyebeams.

How's he going to sneak up?  Sollux can clip away any nearby bushes or other cover with his mindblades, and orks don't take much care in being quiet.
Cover isn't just bushes and weak foliage, it could also be stone walls and ditches.

This implies that combat varies by terrain.

For the purposes of further discussion, let us assume that this battle is taking place in recently bombed-out Dresden in the early 1940s.  Plenty of cover, plenty of rubble and miscellaneous items.

The Smithsonian is too breakable. Bombed-out Dresden is already broken.

Looking over the archives, when he accidently eats it when he wasn't under anyone's control, he first has red and blue electricity sparking around his eyes, then the beams start firing out of his eyes. When he is under Vriska's control, there is what looks like red and blue smoke emanating from his eyes, then the beams fire and the most powerful psychic seen so far is killed and her home razed to the ground. It seems that the beams don't fire instantly, but have some kind of charge period.

Hello my baby
Hello my honey
Hello my ragtime gal

Send me a kiss by wire
Baby my heart's on fire!

If you refuse me,
Honey, you lose me
And you'll be left alone, oh baby

Telephone, and tell me I'm your own~

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.
