Chaos!!!! There is no other word for this. I glance arround and all I see is blood, all I hear is screams and the worst part... Miasma. I don't know what happend to cause this madness but it did. And with the dissapearance of our previous administrator I decided to take matters in my own hands once more. Everything can be fixed. Even this. As I leave my room cautiously to inspect the chaos I pass the room of Iton, our farmer and stop dead in my tracks. His eyes are red. Part of his beard is missing and his mouth is foamy... too foamy. I immediatly call for the help of some nearby... sane ... workers and order them to lock the farmer inside his room.
"We can't Kalrirr" one of them informed me.
"Why not"? I enquired.
"There is a spider silk cloak blocking the door" I asked why they couldn't simply.. remove it, they said there was no time and ran off immediatly. "Great" I muttered and it seemed like Iton finally noticed me standing in his doorway, so I decided I'd better get out of here aswel, for now anyways.
Only a few hours later I was informed that he had died in his room. Good riddance.

It took alot of organising and... shouting over the screams but we finally managed to kill all those that went insane. I had temporarly drafted all of our remaining dwarves into a militia and lead them to victory. The screaming has stopped, briefly...
After a quick headcount it seems only 17 of us are left. Things aren't looking well at all.

I noticed some beautiful golden engraved statues sitting in our stockpiles. I ordered two of them to be moved to the meeting hall. Hoping that it would inspire those that are on the verge of insanity as they have inspired me to keep on going.

One of our workers notified me of yet another death. That's the 3rd one in 5 days. No one knows what's killing them. It's definatly not our own kind. I sent out someone to investige. It takes a few hours but I finally find out who has been murdering our workers. A trogoldyte. Damn those things, how did they get in? Yet another nuisance to deal with it seems.

Once more I ordered every man with 2 legs and 2 arms into the militia and we took up arms to strike down the vile creature. We did. And it felt good. At last something that was not a dwarf died in these stench filled chambers.
23rd moonstone
The last few weeks have been pure agony. There is miasma everywhere. And we don't have enough workers to get rid of all the rotten remains as fast as I'd like. Atleast no one has gone insane for awhile. A few more have died of thirst though. I don't know how that happend, we have plenty of beer. I traded some more just in case though. Food aswel. I grow tired of this. Very tired. Perhaps I shall resume my duties as administrator once more. But for now I shall retreat to my chambers where I will remain curled up in a fetal position, clutching onto the dwarven rum barrel that I... *claimed* for myself.
Things I did:
-Placed statues to increase happy thoughts.
-Constructed coffins
-Killed tantrumers
-Made a custom uniform called axes for quick militia recruiting
-frowned why someone designated ALL!!! the trees / shrubs on the map to be cut. Undid that. Takes too much time.
Things to do:
Figure out why they're still dying of thirst.
-Build even more coffins
-proper armor
-clean up refuse
-stop ordering so much things at once, workforce is too scarse
