How do these cloaks work? Also do they make you faster?

The cloak is basically an Active Camo that makes you invisible, but instead drains from the Terran Ghosts Psionic Power. And then again he is a super soldier.

Because all insects only have sight as a sense. The super soldier thing makes sense.
