I have not found a post on this yet but what is the extent of adventure mode health care? Any good warrior should be able to care for their wounds...especially bleeding ones.

Right now my right middle finger is smashed and broken...I would like to think I can flip my foes off before I do something horrible to them....

and now its infected -.-

There is really no health care in adventure mode other than waiting it out. Unless you have an infection, in that case you're a ticking time bomb.

I heard that you can wrap cloth around your hands, but I doubt that will solve your problem.

Yeah thats what I heard too...not sure where to even get cloth though....cept to mod it in..

You can get cloth from your old fort, but as was said it can't be used to wrap around wounds anyway.

so far the only health care one can get is if you retire and come out of retirement, but doing that could take a year.month off an adventurer.

maybe when personal care is implemented, toady could allow you to attack yourself. say your arm is trapped in some possible future implented trap thing, which soon to eat your whole body, or an inoperable infection. what do you do? just go and lop the part right off, though whether your character will actually do it/ a good job of it might depend on ones willpower.

Or you could spend your time giving yourself ritual scars.

"He has a scar in the shape of an elephant on his lower left arm".

lol perhaps...I just don't like when I die from an infected finger a few months after I get the injury -.-
