Guard-The elven city of the fields has fallen to goblins....again!

Queen-Not again!!!
Guard-We barrely killed it! That was a mad thing!

Guard-a score of wariors in the hospital.
Queen-No way!?
Guard-totaly bad aint it?
Queen-Ok...........So, Bring me that man!

Later that day.

Queen-Seymore, you are our last hope!
Seymore-B' doin what?
Queen-B' h'lp'n! ofcourse!

Queen-Remember that mad plan to make a safe haven underground?

Queen-Whell we need that. Theese are mad times. The goblins have grown in number.

Seymore-The plan is symple mizz queenie! We will build a zhip!
Queen-A ship!? Thats not dwarfy!
Seymore-W' wont float the ship. We wll sink it!
Queen-This is who I'm wastin my time with?
Seymore-No just wait. The zhip wll be consealed and all the dwarves wll b' inside! When we are inside someone from the ouside will drop us down. The ship will be filled with suplies. When we hit botmn, we will remove one floor tile and dig down. There are no aquifiers so we wll b' able to make a settlement underground with NO acsess t' the above ground. There we will forge an army. Thats the plan!
Queen-But how will you get out?
Seymore-Aaah, Thats where you come in! We will have another settlement above ground! You shal send migrants to afterwards dig us out.
Queen-Hmmm...I like this plan! Its totally dwarfy! I shall send you all you need. You shall even recieve a whole caravan of goods.

This was a good plan... but if the dwarves knew what they were in for... A years worth of planning, building and engineering was lost. And 18 lives were lost... When the dwarves went into the boat Seymore called back to Alaath 'When were in you drop the buty. dont wory, there will be more friends to assist you in taking care of the base!' But a tragedy happened. When they were in and sealed Alaath destroyed the main floor holding the submarine-Yes, Thats what it was. The ship went down with a woosh and Alaath was instantly thrown doen iinto the ocean. The whole crew and the sub went down. The Submarine Crashed to the bottom and was broken into a thousand pieces. Most of the crew died under the falling weight of the cieling of the sub. The ones who did not die of the cieling, died of drowning. The only one who survived was seymore. Yes! He survived the crash but only to find himself run low on breath right before reaching the ramps.

All men and wimen died... The settlement of reignworks had withered... COMPETELY!!!

I was hoping this was a succession game.

The real tragedy is that it was going to be. The sucsession would be that the sub lads in the bottom and then we start. Since the place has an aquifier there is NO way up and there would be a lot of underground assaults. The sub would be the last retreat. I remember the vojages of the seatrident or what ever... That show rocked! So I was the one who would start the sub and land it.... But Toady has made it so that when a wall fals it INSTANLY turns back into the original pile of crap that it was before. I mean, realy, this thing was intact, had a farm AND a still. We could have lived there for EVER. I was even planning to build an emergency drop shoot so that I can assign dwarves and drown them in a certain are if I am overpopulated. I am still working on the next sucsession game.

it doesn't instantly change back, its just tht nothing constructed, built, and/or made survives a drop of any size

You could always try carving the sub out of natural rock. That would survive the fall.

After the next research labs like ''the outrageous creature'' and ''The test of faith''(Or something) I understood that; 1) Lava drops would rock but they usually lead to hell. 2) Toady will get another e-mail and 3) That It takes too much time to make the whole thing into a succession. Yes Seymore and the Queen have horrible grammar.
