I have a question about those treasure troves that turns up sometimes. Are they worth the entrance price? Also, when you dont have the money, an imp offer to lock the portal. If you refuse, no effect as far as i know and if you accept you lose some money and then he say it broke and you need xx Item to open it up. Do you now only need the item or the money too?

Learned that
1 Bumblebee is much superior to a full healthed level 10 Troll that is Trog Handed/Berserked and is immune to the Bumblebee poison thanks to a good ring and was wielding a huge spiked club with level 10 skill in it and was not bad in EV and in AC .

Can only love the random number...

I learned that a Troll Healer is bad because of god and survival related issues.

Eh? Last few times I tried TrHe it went about as well as a troll monk, since that's basically what they are, only starting with elvy. I think the only real issue you'd have is with the no-necromancy thing; cannibalism only applies to eating other trolls, which aren't terribly common. You'll probably swap over to TSO at some point in the late game, but until then the easy healing helps your already notable regen and purification does a few other rather nice things. It's even pretty simple to get piety since you'll probably be clawing everything to death anyway, so saccing most weapons is a no-brainer...

Well, I just felt it was weird that a Healer god was not getting mad at me for killing things.
And I had a bad run for myself.
I felt that any pain I took, I could easily heal in like three turns. So I was overconfident, which was a bad thing
I was unable to find a Flail/Mace which are good weapons for any Troll class IMO.
I kept running into wizards, which was a pain in the ass. Did I mention I died by a wizard?

Quinnr has to add you to his rcfile. Someone should pm him if he doesn't read this thread much.

At the very top, type in

I've been playing online the last few days and I usually play 2 or 3 hours a day, which is not much, though I guess I play more on weekends...

Anyway, I thought as long as I'm playing, I might as well join the Haulers team, or something... I think my experience level is intermediate, since I can get to The Liar, but I've never gotten any rune... not that it matters anymore.

I got 4 runes today. Crawl won't generate the demonic rune. If I get it soon I'll finish my game by the end of the day. My next character will be a Hill orc, so I can finally get that Xom banner.
