Duvessa: Dead.

Dowan: Still needs to die.

Odd situation. Hopefully I can get more unique kills and ghost kills. Tempted to just run necromancers purely to scum ghosts. Oh, if anybody else is playing a game right now, I'm going to start spec'ing you.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Hee hee :P

Foolish me for thinking he couldn't cast spells when polymorphed.

EDIT: Also, I seem to have accumulated 55 unique points. And I'm playing at the moment, on CDO.

Got a naga crusader going, though for how much longer I'unno. Just hit them temple, waffling on who to worship.

EDIT: No okawaru, so I kept going. Just had the harshest thing I've ever survived, I think. D:7 was basically a brick wall when I first went down it; crazy crap like wyverns and orc/ogre/gnoll groups surrounding pretty much all the stairs, unique or two. Been slowly leading stuff up the stairs and killing them peicemeal, but in the latest draw, Blork, an ogre, and two gnolls decided to come up the stairs with me. Burnt my last teleport, getting out with <10 (Out of 66) hp, but didn't get far enough away to cancel the homing on most of the critters. Proceed to (somehow -- well, poison breath and casting regeneration a few times had something to do with it) manage to off an orc and a couple gnolls with hp at and below the mid-teens. Was completely expecting to die there, heh. Now watch blork off me :P

EDIT2: Violent things waiting at the bottom of the stairs seems to be a theme with this critter...

Also, scroll of summoning is awesome. I've got this small abomination that's been following me around for like three dungeon levels now. I've been hasting it occasionally via wand, which is fun to watch. It's probably been killing more things than I have, heh.

Welp. There he went. Giant beetle got 'im. Forgot I had a blink scroll ::)

I found an antique weapon shop. Haul:
the +5,+5 long sword of Plu Sips {flame, MR}
the +7,+4 broad axe "Giantslayer" {speed, rN+ MR}
the -3,-2 bow of the End {venom, rElec rF+ AC+3}
Up to now I've been using a +3 short sword of protection.

Spriggans have pretty terrible affinities for larger weapons, but I can crosstrain with short blades. And a broad axe of speed isn't bad either. I think I'll leave the bow to my stash, though. With all these decks and wands and scrolls, I don't even really have the carrying capacity for the giant pile of arrows I'd need to get proper use of it.

Although, on the other hand, my current tactic for dealing with virtually anything is to put it to sleep and stab it, for which a short blade is the ideal tool. And those are all two-handed for spriggans, meaning that I couldn't wear a buckler with them. Of course, I haven't been able to find a single buckler in the whole dungeon so far, but that could still happen! :P

I haven't played 0.7, until the tournament started. I really hate the new LOS. All spells had their diagonal ranges reduced, while aiming in the cardinal directions gave you the full range.  >:(

Anyway, we have two teams in the top 10! I'll get 2-3 runes today.

As skid has not showed up and has not modified his rcfile to join the Bay12_Miners, the team has then 1 open slot.
So if anyone wants to join the Bay12_Miners and play the tournament with us, feel free to request membership.

Anyone is using Net Tiles ?

I found a buckler of poison resistance in the Elven Halls, meaning that I'll probably be taking on swamp and snake pit next. Delicious runes! :D

Re: Ugly White Thing. That was pretty harsh, Antioch. Tough luck.

Bout the only possible chance I saw, outside of attacking and praying you managed to kill it, was downing the healing potion and slipping on the regen ring, then pillar dancing some more. Sucks when stuff like that happens.

Also, out of curiosity, any reason for not IDing the potions?

EDIT: Four chunks in a row turning out ill? Yeesh.

Speccing is kinda' interesting. Also annoying, though, 'cause I'm like, "That's what I do, damnit, why did you survive!?"

I usually prefer IDing my potions with scrolls etc, because I don't want to spoil a potion of cure mutation of get some nasty mutations, and the only really usefull potions are healing, heal wound and speed in most situations.

I really thought I could beat that white thing, but that ice brand really hurts.......

but ohw well, I am back into the dungeon, and all is going well :P

I was happy when i found a whip of electrocution early in the dungeon.

But i was much less happy when i understood the electrocution effect happens only randomly, as the majority of rats/goblin/hobgoblins i met and whipped were never recieving the electrocution damage considering how slowly their health was being lowered (whips are not exactly the best damage dealers).

Basically an useless weapon, as with bad luck the electrocution damage do not happen, and you're left with a ridiculously low damaging weapon.

Well that sucks. I got paralyzed by an eye and had sigmund sneak up on me invisible. I died without even knowing what killed me.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Got another Troll run in which i added a few more uniques that were so far missing to my kill list. And died from another stupid death in Orcs : 4 in which i could have called at any time a brother in arms but completely forgot about this ability.

That's a constant in my games, 99% of my characters have died because of this kind of stupid mistake, everytime i had one of them dying i noticed after morgue that i had either items or powers that could have easily prevented that sad fate.
