Oh yeah, there was one thing I was wondering: Should we go over the games and deaths that happened in the tournament in this thread or the general Crawl thread? The first option would make this thread a neat time capsule of the tournament, games included. The downside would be that some great advice might go unnoticed by most of the players if it was shared just in this thread.

I know this will go both ways no matter what we decide, but it'd be nice to have a favored option.

Putting on that amulet of rage and activating it could have helped you survive the poison a few more turns and maybe survive I think.

Probably would have been the smart thing to do. The main issue I found was, switching from the stealth/buff play style stalkers are built for to a venom mage spellcaster was a little too much.

 My usual character choice is as random as possible, but perhaps I should make an exception this month and play a few of the stronger choices (my two best characters were Troll Hunter and Draconian Assassin, and perhaps the worst was a Hill Orc Air Elementalist..).

What's so complicated about it? 

Register on CAO, add
# TEAMCAPTAIN humaan
to the top of your options file and you're done.

Registering is pretty simple:

1) Connect to CAO (just type in 'joshua' as the login and password).
2) Register an account (name, password and e-mail).

what about actually DOWNLOADING it? i can't see any download links anywhere on there.
