I've had both the snake rune and the swamp rune on one occasion using a vampire ice wizard, and I've had each of those runes individually on more than a few occasions.  I played in Soapers last year as an absolute newbie.

and because you have not since then edited your options file you show up on the old team which appears to not be disbanded

I'm sure I've seen this answered before, but I can't seem to find a solid answer to your question.  In the '?' then '&' menus in Crawl, I found a reference to a line you can add to the options file which reads:

use_fake_player_cursor = true

But the explanation about it seems to say that the line will make the player ALWAYS be highlighted instead of NEVER highlighted like you want.  Anyway, just wanted you to know somebody is reading your post!  Good luck!

As Soulwynd seems to have gone AWOL, there's one space left on the Miners, so you can choose from joining the Miners or taking the Captain position of Immigrants.

Though it means you can do it again. If you'd like to join the Immigrants, just say.

That's because de5me7 hasn't edited his rcfile yet, and I couldn't find players "PsyberianHusky" or "zchris13" on the CAO server, so they need to tell their usernames.

I said I'd join if I didn't suck (compared to these guys). I never played it seriously. Even tho i got past D:10 as someone suggested, but It was more like: Roll random character, see how long I will survive.

I'd have to practice playing seriously, since the only roguelike I've played seriously before was tome2.

So i am going to remove from the file Soulwynd that does not want to join , and add Skid (if he wants to join the miners).

What's your CAO name Skid assuming you want the spot in the Bay12_Miners team ?
Is this always " skid " from what i read on the old soaper list ?

Nah, I put you into the Intermediate team (Miners) right away and after Blacksmiths were created, it was even more suitable to your experience level so you stayed. But great that the doubts of your involvement are now lifted.

just as a heads up i'm going to be traveling until the 30th, so you probably won't hear from me until then.  And yes, the best I had done before the tourney last year was a few one rune runs.

Though Vactor has a reason, he said he was out on vacation 'til the 30th.

Soapers is also missing half the players, but I'd say the situation is pretty good compared to last year when at this point we hadn't even thought of constructing a team.
