Bald Axeman will move southeast, or just east if I can't move diagonally.

This is Dwarf Fortress! If we can chuck magma at innocent wildlife, we can do ANYTHING!

It was at this point that I realised that dwarves are actually the essence of chaos. What else can make perpetual motion machines, recursive statues with more building materials than the average tower and has such a short attention span that a damn fine chair can off-set the death of their entire family.

Waiting list in first post. Anyone with no turn to spawn behind his name will spawn on the first turn where there is a free workshop (or other herocreator), and there are less then 10 heroes.

If both workshops are free, a diceroll will decide. If different kinds of heroes can spawn, you will get a PM asking you to choose.

I shall go to the north-west!

That will be north or west ;)

And I guess in that case you'll take north. So if you don't read this for a day, I'll let you go north.

Kill kill kill.

My liege, I am doing your kingdom a great service by attempting to slay this ferocious beast that has a decent chance of killing me. For the glory of the realm!

Fleeing from a foul monster that greatly threatens the security of the Kingdom is almost as bad as treason.

To build a house, or a market. Hmm. Don't want to go broke. Could use an economy boost. I place a house on the tile to the south east of my keep!

Your bravery is commendable, Nirur! Though taking on the rat is a decision you made yourself, and the kingdom of Redonia is in no way responsible for death or serious injury to you as a result of battle with this rat.
