I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

2) Telling new researchers that you can tame 682 with a rolled up newspaper and a tummy rub is right out.

3) No longer allowed to challenge Abel to unwinnable games like tic-tac-toe. It was three weeks before Abel conceded a draw.

682 may just exist for the sole purpose of messing with the Foundation.

My favorite kill attempt on 682 is

I've always wondered what 682 to would tastelike. Wait What? Goddamn my old habits.

Anyway, does anybody know when the Foundation was founded?
Or where all the files on "The Chaos Insurgency" and "Nobody" are?
Because I want to find out for no damn reason.

Read Dr. Gears' proposal for SCP-001.

Personally, I think we should try to sell this to Broadway. I mean, really; how else are you going to see Dr. Bright and Dr. Clef belting out a duet about SCP-682's eating habits? -Dr. Edison

This I want to see.

I find 682's apparent favorite food transformed into a heart-stopper odd.

Quote
10 kg of rotten meat and sharpened bone splinters, 10 L of rancid mayonnaise, 1 L potassium cyanide, and 1 kg morphine hydrochloride, combined into a solid mass then transmuted via SCP-807

The thing considers cyanide and morphine to be normal food, to say nothing of the spoiled meat and mayonnaise. Perhaps the Foundation is going about getting rid of it the wrong way. It's from outside our universe at the least, so things work strangely for it. Perhaps they can kill it by treating in a way we would consider healthy and good.

I wonder what would happen if 682 was cloned and both were put in the same room. Likely something interesting.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

They cut it in half and it turned into two. They had a stare down until they were interpreted and than they started killing everybody. When one got hurt a lot the other ate it.

Perhaps they can kill it by treating in a way we would consider healthy and good.

Maybe... on the other hand being nice to it will entail killing all life on earth.

The tickle monster almost worked on it... almost. Then there was a wave of laughter induced death. 682 was happy for a while though!
