Not to be a bubble burster, but it would seem the Nintendo gun has no effect on real-life whatsoever, and only damages the user's perception of reality. The article states that the guy died from .38 calibur rounds, but it doesn't say the SCP was responsible for them, it could have been an off-screen Agent that got seriously pissed off at how annoying this guy was. Speculation, of course.

I'm disappointed there isn't an experiment log for the item, since it would provide alot of enjoyment. There could be things like:

-having a D-class shoot into home footage of himself when he was a baby.
-Having a D-class shoot into a live stream of themselves.
-Having a D-class use it during the cutscenes of a videogame. Take that Raiden!
-Have a D-class shoot into (insert television show). Hilarity ensues!

This would be awesome.

Also, it's implied the cast of Star Trek managed to kill the guy who tried to shoot kirk: it cuts off after some technobabble about "reversing the polarity of a phaser"

-Having a D-class shoot into a live stream of themselves.

I think it's implied that that's how the original user died.

-Having a D-class shoot into a live stream of themselves.

Subject reported "feeling strange" followed by [DATA EXPUNGED] never to be attempted again, for risk of a EK-Class-Retroactive-Nonexistance-Scenario.

I know you're probably joking, but is this actually written somewhere? The Foundation website is labyrinthine in nature.

Nope, made it up on the spot, including what a EK-Class-Scenario is.

It sounds good. A plausible designation.

And more descriptive than "XK-class end of the world scenario" too.

What's the "XK" stand for? are there other "end of the world" scenarios?

Well, from what I understand, various letters denote various designations.

K=Scenario
C=Restructuring (Earth still exists but is changed so much that it no longer matters)
X=End Of The World (Earth is destroyed)

And then, in "Document Recovered From The Marianas Trench", a GH-0 "Dead Greenhouse" Scenario is mentioned. It denotes when everyone on Earth dies, but the Earth is fine, so the Foundation can recreate everything and make people forget.

EDIT: By the way, for the "How to kill SCP-682" crowd, it did die in at least one alternate timeline.

I would've liked a 682 "stream of consciousness" point of view while that occurred.

Just to nitpick, torn to shreds is not dying, not when it's 682. What I reckon happened was he was torn apart, reconstitutes himself after a while and then gets torn apart again.

Wonder how you'd adapt to that.

Get tougher and not tornupable?

Adapt a series of eyes that constant watch the surrounding area? Because yeah, that alternate timeline's 682 must've been a real wuss.
