My carpentry is at eight and on the rise. Not the best out there, but meh.

What do you need me building, if anything?

Well, once we (by which i mean probably me since i haven't seen anyone else on, not that i've been on much myself) decide on a spot for the guildhouse, you'll need to be building walls, doors, and roofs.

If so, get on and join LCS (both me and dragnar can recruit you)

If not, I'm probably going to disband it and go check out the new lairs (You can now create your own dungeon with a treasure hoard- items stashed there age and become more powerful as other people try and get past your guards to steal them.)

Really? How does that work? Does the item's quality just rise slowly? And could you hire people to go in and lose repeatedly...

Anyway, I'm still on, but only rarely. I'm just crafting now, not fighting things.

It's like text dungeon keeper - you hire monsters (by beating them up) then dig out a lair and assign them to various spots.  You designate some rooms as hoards, and place loot in there - the value of your loot determines how much prestige you have to spend paying guards, and a combo of your lair's popularity and your loot value determines how much prestige goes towards aging your loot.  Aging gives +1 quality and +10 magic effects for each stage, with each stage (old->ancient->timeless->artifact->about a dozen stages) taking longer than another.  Then you place your lair on the world map.

Alister also removed the crafting decay and replaced it with a focus stat which is awesome~

Focus stat? Care to elaborate?

Instead of losing crafting rank, it becomes harder to gain crafting rank if your "focus" (levels in crafting skills) are scattered.  It's a much better system than the decay in my opinion.

Gonna try this out. Kind of saddened to not have found this sooner. My name will most likely be Repzul/Repul/Repal, or somesuch. Think I will be going for an axe/crafting build with alchemy/carpentry/gem.

I used to play this.  I was an axe-user, kind of an all-or-nothing kind of guy, I'd pop berserk and something else and then just lay everything I had at them.  If it failed I was in a bad way but if it didn't I dropped wyverns and shit in a few seconds.

That was back when you could change your attributes and stuff as much as you want, I'm not sure if it's still like that.
