There are ambushes all the time it hardly needs mentioning that the last mission has a tough one...

Also I am kinda angry... I was with a group and they wanted to kick me because I was rushing off ahead... but that wasn't exactly what happened... Specifically they were taking too long and I had to destroy herds of enemies while they weren't looking. (that and my weapons couldn't be used near them because it was a flame thrower and the nerfed teslagun)

Staying tightly packed stops being a good strategy after easy mode and against ranged. You want two people to clear areas ahead. One person to stay in the back and another to cover the sides. Too many missions I found that the "stay together" strategy was a trap.

One person can finish most missions if they avoid enough damage once you got the levels...

ERRR!!! I had to take on several swarms solo... and take on the ranged attackers solo... and they kicked me... Though given that they lost several times in the missions I seen them in... I can't say I believe they beat that level. They tended to rely heavily on prep which got them killed constantly.

Tip: FOR goodness sake... on Hard follow up a burned enemy with a stiff kick.

Great tip. The sentries work fine for Normal, though. I'll try that next time.

Dual Pistols are a great weapon on Easy and Normal but they lose their effectiveness once the game goes hard due to the sheer number of enemies that go after you.

Though they arn't bad and I am tired of people who pick weapons that run out of ammo FAST!

Anyway.

I jumped on tonight and found a public normal game of a few people looking to do a speedrun, but with no idea how to. Since I already had done all 7 missions, I decided to be generous and help them through it as their Adrenaline Junkie Tech Expert.

Afterwards, we decided it was time to unwind with Shenanigans.

So we did Landing Bay normally (Except that I locked the medic out of the place with the computers with a welder so he died <_<) and then did the greatest thing ever:

Cargo Elevator with 7 sentries and one medicbeacon (a.k.a. "lazy mode, an even less effort-intensive approach than "easy mode," which is bringing two sentries and putting one in each upper corner). We lost our medic en route and had to run back for his sentry to finish things off.
