Its a bit buggy but playable I guess.

Not really the best way to play in my opinion, as top down at least you can see all around you.

I guess you could play it first person, if everybody on the squad does the same and there is some REAL coordination going on.

But I seriously wouldnt see why I'd want to do it in the first place. There's a lot of different design choices, and the slightly jittery controls in first person as well as the obvious lack of ceilings is just the beginning.

I still tried it, sure, but this game is zeh isometric goodness.

Right now, there arent any public games, and I dont seem to be able to create a game room. Also, "Friends" in Steam is acting up a bit.

just tried it, and it works now, 30 seconds later. It's either because I should have restarted Steam after the Alien Swarm update, or it was somehting completely different, and they fixed it.

edit: i think its steam faults, friends thingy is acting up again.

Alien Swarm got updated again. They fixed the crash to desktops.
