Servers are busy so Steam's having trouble downloading, and Steam has always had issues with starting a download back up if it gets interrupted.

I'm starting to doubt that it's a simple server load problem. Both times downloading stopped at the exact same point and refused to restart for hours.

I have discovered the tesla canon is the ultimate in facehugger zapping technology, although it does give me trouble with eggs. I completed an easy campaign, thought I had to redo the last mission about 8 times because everyone kept getting facehugged... damn aliens, when will they finally learn what too much love is?

Steam does that to me a lot some times. It did fix itself with a restart tho.

There’s a slight angle in the camera, there’s more weapons, lashings if lighting effects, new enemies, the ability to dive and roll, clever equipment, physics puzzles. There’s quite a lot of stuff. Including a decent front end that’s roughly based on Left 4 Dead, for co-op ease.

You chuck some explosive into the big cluster of eggs at the end, no more facehuggers.

Connecting is a bitch, though, often I get stuck in either the "connecting to games" or it won't connect "after 10 retries". Bugger.
