You say that as if he hasn't cracked. I'd say that's the case.

A single person like that would be intimidating, but more would help the effort. One person being slient and staring at you is unerving. A entire protest group, all dressed the same, all staring at you in total silence is a nightmare made real. No name, no identification or warning, just showing up wherever the WBC does and staring at them.

No, it kills the idea. Instead of scaring him, we just look rediculous. Nah.

Somehow, that kills the scary in my mind too. I don't know why.

The clincher though is the fact that whoever is there is completely silent. No noise. Nada. Not even the sound of breathing. Bonus points if the day is cloudy with no wind or rain to make noise.

Wow, that nerd vengeance was beautiful.

"Jesus was nailed to a cross. Thor has a hammer."

I would have just had some people dress up like Batman and Robin and act gay just across from where they were.

Or better yet, just get a whole mass of people getting dressed up and dancing across from them.

Ah, that was awesome to watch today. So many great signs. And we were all standing around cheering on the anti-protesters.

I'm actually kind of glad those idiots showed up. They made comic-con even more amusing than usual!

Plus, major credit to all the con-goers for making fun of them in a perfectly nice and legal fashion. At least, everyone I saw.

I really like this. Granted keeping your troops in line and letting your silence be not-heard in the face of background noise (particularly unaffiliated countertrolls screaming stuff at the WBC) isn't always easy.

Of course Comic-Con responded in typical geek fashion. Really surprised nobody had "I AM HOLDING A SIGN", although I do like "Is this thing on?"

I think unaffiliated counter trolls would make it even better, because surrounded by crazy yelling people, are 20 or so, dead silent people, just staring... staring... BOO!

Now that this is over, having this topic is a bit pointless, so I'll go ahead and lock it.
