What every WBC protest needs is really good, really loud music and a bunch of people dancing in front of them.

Also, didn't Sacha Baron Cohen mess with the group? I remember that scene but not who the protesters were. Hold up, it be Google search time...

The problem with protesting their protests and other things like that is not only are stooping to their basic level but it only elevates the problem of the fact they interrupting someone funeral. Of course for other things it would be fine.

Fox has had Westboro members on a few times over the years. It never goes well. Shirley Phelps is the one they have on almost every time. Her smile convinces me that this is more than a scam act. No sane human being can smile like she does.

The best countertroll I've seen for WBC is two flamboyantly gay guys making out on the other side of the street, where they and their children can watch.

Of course the best countertroll that will happen is when Fred finally kicks yonder bucket and everyone and his boyfriend decides to have a funeral protest of their own.

I wouldn't advocate picketing Fred Phelp's funeral. People are better than that.

Also, Michael Moore's countertroll attempt is the best, in my opinion. See Here. Not entirely safe for work, but safe for youtube.
