You know, guys, it's really best if you spoil all these images, so they don't have to take up the screen when people aren't trying to look at them.

Anyway, the stuff I posted was tileable.
That's a small screen you have if 256 pixels takes it up :P

Crown, 256 pixels won't do it, but 10 256 pixel images will.

Here is a 64x64 image of snowflake stuff, that I think you could machine into a pretty cool obsidian.

EDIT: And you can't forget the bluemetal.

Wait. Somethings fishy here. Either 64 isn't the square root of 256, or one of them isn't sized right.

OK, I've gone back and tileized the Rhyolite (Igneous Extrusive) and the Granite (Igneous Intrusive)  stones, as those are the simple ones.

Simply use the Rhyloite and Granite images as-is for those two stones, and make Andesite/Diorite slightly and Basalt/Gabbro significantly darker stones than Rhyolite/Granite.  (See http://mtsu32.mtsu.edu:11407/1030igneous.html about halfway down the page for comparisons, mafic stones are generally like their felsic cousins, but darker.)  Dacite is kind of an odd man out, but exists between Rhyolite and Andesite in the color scheme.

Spoiler: granite tileized (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: rhyolite tileized (click to show/hide)

I'll start working on metamorphic layer stones, but I'm going to need to figure out how to make alpha channels the easy way, so we can have multi-colored stones like marble where both colors are selectable.

I'm going to start work on some furniture. I'll try and use authentic but dwarfy stuff for the era. If DFize ends up capable of differentiating by quality, these initial ones should be reasonably high. Not a couple of boulders or balanced logs, but not exactly legendary. They will have to be differentiated by material.

*facepalm* I meant to say 1/4. Walls/floors and furniture are already taken... I'll try plants. I should use blender to model, right? Meh, wish me luck.

Sure, unless someone else wants to do them. I have a deep ingrained fear of mushrooms. If I did, a field of them'd end up looking like some fiery, poisonous, creepy mire.

This thread is starting to sound like Ironhand's Set thread, except with 3D stuff.
