I dunno if anyone's heard of this before, I couldn't find any threads about it unless they don't have the name in them which would make them pretty much impossible to find anyway... Anyway... Depth is a multiplayer stealth action game in development where one team plays sharks and the other team plays well equipped divers.  And well, I'll let the mod DB page explain more. http://www.moddb.com/games/depth

Thats a neat idea for a game, and the graphics are up to date as well. Cant wait to be a shark tearing up the meat bags

Technically the sharks are the meat bags.  At least there's a lot more meat in them than the divers.

Me too, I don't think they're going to include the rare shark-eating diver. I think they're extinct now anyway, too many shark-eating diver-eating sharks got to them.

Actually no.  It's nothing like Jaws: the game.  Jaws: the game would be and was about playing a gigantic shark terrorizing a coastal community.  This game is about a team of players consisting of normal sized sharks versus a team of players consisting of well equipped divers.

There have been several updates to the ModDB page since the last time this thread was on the front page so I figure I should bump this.  Check the first post for the link.

I don't mean to necro, but there's been some updates (circa February, with plenty of developer activity apparently going on to this day) and I don't really want to make a new thread when this one's pretty much adequate.

Still no release date or playable demo, but apparently the combat system is up and running and I'm betting we'll see a beta by June or July.

The guy making this game is the same guy who made the original Killing Floor, that was bought by Tripwire Interactive and revamped. So, he's chalk full of good ideas. Been watching this one for a while, glad to hear he might actually be approaching done.

Watched the trailer... looks like a great take on capture the flag! I'm looking forward to it.
