Huh. I just did the main character from Shadow of the Colossus. He won, but somebody put the name in wrong, last time I checked his name was Ico(I have the first game, so, yeah, I ought to know).

What? Ico is the hero of the first game that company made, but the two games are unrelated(or at least, SoTC isn't officially a sequel). The hero of Shadow of the colossus is known only as "Wanderer".

At the end, when he gets reverts to a baby, he has horns. In the first game, Ico was born with horns, part of a curse that happens every 100 years, but they break off when he kills Yorda's evil mother(he's slammed against the wall when she explodes). The girl from SotC looks just like Yorda(a few years older, and without that ghostly glow that Yorda loses at the end of Ico). Also, if you have an Ico savefile on the same memory card as SotC, Aggro will have an "I" icon on his forehead instead of a diamond.

Huh. I did not know that. Never played Ico, just though there was no connection between them.(different names, different stories, and does Ico have the magic sword?)

He is not correct. The kid from SotC and the kid from Ico are NOT the same people. However, SotC kid IS the ancestor of the Horned Boys. Therefore, we know that the girl survive and they most likely did the horizontal mambo.

So, SotC is a prequel?

@dragnar: Ico gets a/the magic sword towards the end that can one-shot those shadow things, and open the doors you previously needed Yorda for. On the other hand, I remember that sword being twice the size of the one in SotC(Ico needed a hand-and-half to hold it, but in SotC the guy holds like a shortsword). Can't remember the shape of it, it might have looked the same.


Enough de-railing. I beat the genie using Alias and Molov from Red Faction II.

Eh, he's not so tough. I got him on my first try with Code Monkey from that Jonathan Coulton song. I got him with a character from The Simpsons, of all places. Homer's Brain, FYI. He got the Wizard of Yendor, but I got him with the red dragon from Adventure on the Atari 2600. He didn't get the imps from FF1 or the talking wheelchair from Homestar Runner.
