Thanks for this awesome site, I'll be using it!

I'm not sure whether this is a common bug or not, but I've found that embarking on this particular site with an embark profile made my budget about 800 points larger than it usually is.  Has anyone else found this?  It's bizarre, having an extra 7 anvils or so.   ???
You have six spares in case the raccoons attack. Armok damn those raccoons.

Yes. Clearly a bug that ought to be fixed in the future, but exploit it in the meantime.

Aha, thanks Dakkan, I didn't realise you could tweak embark points in the init.  Good to know!

As for the racoons...  The men and women of Praisedpaddles will be waiting.  And when they come, we will be ready.  :P

A raccoon will happily steal a platinum statue, if you let it. Do not ask how.

Those streams could use widening and deepening.

Assuming the larger waterfall in the north and the smaller waterfall in the west. Is the big river flowing clockwise or counter-clockwise? I'm assuming clockwise.

How did you manage to get stonesense to take an overview picture like that? I'd like to take a nice picture of the entire area and what I've done to it, but I can seem to figure out if there's a zoom out feature or something else that I'm missing.

According to the embark screenshot dragonshardz posted, the larger one would be to the west, and the smaller one to the south.

I've been through the readme, and the init file too, but the only thing close is the screenshot mode, but even after increasing the segment size box, I can't make the entire map display at once. Sorry if I didn't explain that right the first time. (Or this time either.   :P)

Edit: Well I think I figured it out, but to be fair the ctrl + F5 command wasn't in the Read-me. Also it crashes on me when I try to display extra z-levels on the surface, but that could very well be my video card.

* Japa goes and checks the readme.

well I'll be damned. it's not there.

press ctrl+F5. if it doesn't work, set the drawmode to software and try again.

Ah, I was worried I may have downloaded the wrong thing, or was missing something very obvious! Unfortunately software gives me a crash too, so I'll have to mess around with my video card and some other settings to get it to work.

Took me some searching to find the site. Very nice area, and my FPS didn't drop much. Working on something fun now.

fun, Fun, or "Fun"?

Anyways, that little spit of land where the three rivers join? That where my nigh-impregnable fort is being built. I'll post a Stonesense shot at some point.
