None of the screenshots work in any update. Only the portraits work.

Well, you know how if you take your thumb and forefinger and hold them up to your eye, you can make it look like you're squishing someone's head? It's like that, only for real.

Hmmmm. Odd. They're showing up fine on my end. I'll try cleaning up the image links and redo them again.

I sometimes have had a problem with Photobucket so I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't show up for some people.

Chapter Three: Let's keep on Gnollin

: We're just here on a pub crawl.

Guard: I instantly believe you.

Since he's standing over there, I'll just have to make that not a lie. PARTY!

Neira: This might seem a touch unladylike... but I'm going to slit your throat I am.

: Heh. I'll defend meself. Attack if ye have the stones.

Neira: This won't be difficult.

*Okay, I didn't cap the scrap because she got the luckiest hold person spell of getting everyone except for Tiax with it. So I did the fight a second time and just used Command Word: Die on her. It might only knock her out for a single round but there is no saving throw made at lower levels. By the time they wake up, Urist and Kagain are at close range and thumping them.*

After she was struck down, Imoen started picking through her pockets. We found some gold and a helmet that is apparently magical
but what had her interested was a bounty notice.

: I'm worth 680 gold pieces? Nice.

Berrun Ghastkill: I recognize Xzar amongst your numbers so you must be the group that I am expecting. I am Berrun Ghastkill, mayor of Nashkel and I welcome you if you are here to help. If there is treachery then you best leave.

: No worries. We're here to help.

Berrun Ghastkill: You're much more polite then what I would have assumed, considering your ah... traveling companions.

: When Tiax rules, this hovel shall sell shoes. This much Tiax has been told by Cyric.

Berrun Ghastkill: Er... yes.  I assume that you've heard of our problems. The iron shortage has crippled the coast and our mine seems to be a center of it. The ore seems to be tainted and our miners are going missing.

: Perhaps you dug too deep and unleashed something.

Berrun Ghastkill: Some miners have claimed to have seen yipping demons so perhaps you are right.  If you could clear the mines, perhaps that would be a start.

:  Will I be rewarded?

Berrun Ghastkill: If the gratitude of a town is not enough then you will be rewarded.

:All I needed to hear.

: Why yes, I am... Greywolf the uh... supreme Bounty Hunter. That is me. Me who is Greywolf, Bounty Hunter. Certainly not the Dog or a dwarf named Urist. I'll accept that money now.

Greywolf: Excellent work sir. The people of Nashkel will not hesitate to call upon you again to deal with thieving miscreants.

We also ran into a somewhat strange warrior.

: Are you talking to that Rodent?

: This is Boo, my animal companion and he is more than he appears.

: I see. You said something about saving a woman? I suppose I could help out.

: Take heart fellow adventurers, for you have curried the favor of Boo, the only miniature giant space hamster in the Realm!  My friend and companion ever since my h-h-head wound, he will lead us to victory!  Onward to the Gnoll Stronghold in the west!  Tarry not!  We must go soon!

NEW CHARACTER
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We decided to cut Xzar and Monatron loose. We had bought them to their destination and now we're replacing one deranged lunatic with another lunatic. Hopefull, at least I can sleep around Minsc.

Why would you call another Dwarf short? Come one, that's just a dick move.

*Accidental spoiler alert. ::) *

We ran into Noober, an annoying little man who asked if he could see my axe. I responded with gusto.

*That's actually one of the few times where you can kill an innocent person without a reputation hit. Evidently, everyone thought that Noober deserved it*

As we were heading west towards the Gnoll stronghold we came across somebodies stash of armour. Since the needs of the Urist outweigh the needs of other people we took it to equip Minsc with.

He's looking fabulous in that armour.

Holy shit, Bear Attack!

In the following area we encountered a pack of Gnolls when something happened that would change the life of Urist forever.

It's a giant axe? Sweet merciful crap it's beautiful.

Dammit, what's with me finding wolves that are much stronger than what I should be fighting?

: YOU DIE NOW!

: So we found a magical halberd. I guess we could sell-

: Dibs.

Oh my.

Next time, we'll continue on and maybe dig deeper into the mines.
