I am aware of it. IMO many ideas in Victoria 3 are good (anarchists yay!) and I'd like to see them make a sub-project for adapting the new mechanics to Victoria 2-style games, but the "diplomacy only" focus is lame.

Huh, the popup can be avoided without hacking the Steam now.

First rule of software: You have no rights.

Although you could probably successfully sue them in Stockholm.  The EU is BIG on software rights.

(I just clicked "OK, I know I have no rights" and moved on with my life)

As you said there are some rules protecting consumers, but yes the system as a whole exploits non-publishers.
