Hi

Need a bit of FPS help, not the usual situation. Look in spoiler tab if you know what happens when you Dig too deep.

Basically i was able to stop the demons (i counted 60, then gave up) by building walls into the tunnels leading to them. I hope those walls will hold them (different material types etc.) But what next ? Now my fps has plummeted by 80% just as they are trying to figure out what to do there.

Is there any way to mask the demons so it would not kill fps ? i'm not fond of trying to kill them all.... Or start another fort.

You could kill them all using the utility Runesmith. But they might respawn.

I already have a golden statue for a experienced axelord who drowned in lake due to missing both arms after wrestling with alligator.

I guess this will take a lot of statues

im gonna stay on the topic of fps..

whats they best way to improve it??? im currently teetering on 1-2 fps, i used to be 6-8 that was tolerable, 1-2 is not

i change G-FPS from 150 to 20, still the same, nearly all my animals are in 1, solitary cage

all 3 caverns are breached, and a small portion of the magma sea after a poor dwarf fell in, weather off temp on, i might turn it off

i dammed the brook but i cant fully drain it yet..

what do i do now??

Kill off some dorfs/pets, melt rocks, buy a better computer.

i guess i could butcher a couple hundred pets, ive never ever intentionally killed a dwarf, and i was thinking about transferring file to better computer via flash drive

 as for the rocks, i guess i could evaporate some

If you have any water reactors turn those off, it should help.
