Isn't it under the Plant Control rune? I think it is. I'll go train my dagger skill on it, then.
Attack the boss with my dagger.
Instead of making a horrible mistake, throw a Fireball at the plant.

I'm considering putting another Command Rune on it, but remember what happened last time I did that?

Draw a Rune of Withering on the beanstalk.

HmH, maybe you could set it on fire? And then wolfchild could Empower the fire.

Herbicide magic. It's more reliable.

By the way, we could just run away without fighting the plant. It's not like it's going to chase us.

I am considering making a orb that will enchance water magic. Also I need my water blade to be enchanted as to stay on.

Plant magic has been pretty great in actual combat ( except when it was against plants ), it's just that I should probably stop taking difficult actions with large potential of going horribly wrong and very little benefit if I actually do succeed.

I won't, of course, but I probably should.

And that orb things sounds quite similar to my staff, the thing that probably empowered the beanstalk to be far more dangerous than anything I could have made without it. Then again, water magic probably isn't going to turn on you like plant magic sometimes does...

Nathan jumps, landing on the massive tendril the plant had tried to crush him with. Another tries to swipe him off, but he dodges to the side at the last second, rolling to the ground.
Fre barely dodges the plant's brutal strike.
Tarran is pounded lightly by the plant's onslaught, even while prone.
Ochita's newly found sword skill is all that keeps him standing after the plant's brutal lashing, and he staggers back, uncertain he can take another hit like that.
Flagro is utterly crushed by the plant's writhing coils. [Luck 1] Oh good, the plant now has his staff.

Tarran takes light damage, now Lightly Wounded.
Ochita takes minor damage, now CRITICALLY WOUNDED!

Flagro, Plant Mage, has been slain by his own creation!
