Bow problem in arena mode!

I give some dwarfs some bolts and crossbow in the arena-mode, but I can not get them to use the crossbow to shoot the bolts, thay drop the bow and use the bolt as a dagger.

How can I have them use the dam thing.

first, they can only carry two things. the bow and the ammo, bow first ammo second might fix it, though i doubt it.
then, if you're controlling them, press t. if you're not, then above is all i got. like i said, they can only carry 2 things.

cross bows are bugged mate. and they don't carry bolts anymore, make sure to give them a quiver.

How can I give them the quiver in arena mode, there is no such thing that I can find there.
