Basically a World with lots of major rivers? is there a variable controlling river size? I tried upping the river count to 800, but only the count of small rivers and streams seems to increase, sometimes I even get zero major rivers.

Use the biggest map your ram will let you get away with set the numbers around 100 pre lower then post; reject intill you approve of results.
