World of Zeen

World of Xeen, so you'll be doing both Clouds and Darkside? Ok. I'll read.

Brownie points if you kill the megadragon.

I havent even read the manual so just tell me what icon to press

Arrow keys to move, function keys F1-F6 to bring up character sheets, a to attack, s to launch ranged attacks, c to cast/select a spell, space bar to activate/talk to shops/people/buildings/objects, b to try to bash through a wall, r to rest, m to bring up the minimap (once you have the relevant skill.) I to show the time of day, q for party quick reference, v for the quest log.

Also...IMPORTANT: mouse clicking the little purple gem opens up your save/load screen.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also useful to know:
Some skills (navigation, mountaineering, a few others) require that multiple characters in your party have them. Your entire party must be able to swim in order to cross water. Learning skills with only one character will sometimes not help you. The general rule is that if it affects stats, only the people you want to have it need to have it. (Knights don't need spell enhancing skills, for example.) Any skill that affects movement will require that anywhere from 2 and 4 characters to be useful, and swimming requires the entire party to have it.

You will probably want to create a list of what items do. This is blind, so I won't spoil it, but pay attention to item names. The "enhancements" have a logic to them, and it's convenient to be able to simply look at a name to know if an item is better than what you're wearing rather than having to go have it identified.

Ok thanks I figured it out after playing M&M 3 a little bit but I still dont know where to go/what to do. I also figured out what the little gargoyles on the side do, but no telling anyone. Remove your part about the gargoyles dont give the other people playing hints. ;)

Remove your part about the gargoyles please thats a pretty big spoiler

Ok. Enclosed in a spoiler tag, but it's just a description of how certain spells and abilities work with the graphical interface.

Did you watch the lengthy opening video sequence, or was it not included in your version? Also...it has audio dialogue explaining what's going on, so if you don't have sound emulation you would have missed it.

EDIT:
Deleted text summary.

Here's the opening video for Clouds
Here's the opening video for Darkside.

If you downloaded from an emulator site, they might not have been included. They explain what's going on.

Why does my food go down only when i sleep?

That's just how food works. Yes, you can go days without sleep and conserve food, but it's not really an issue. I don't think I ever had a party starve to death.

How do I activate magical items?

Go your inventory, press the number of the item and press U for use. I think only "Misc" items are activatable.

What battle menu? The menu doesn't change during battle. Post a pic?

Mandate of Heaven was very good. Xeen is actually probably better in some ways. It's certainly longer. But both were quite good.

Hmm. I don't know. I've played through the game twice, but I never noticed that.

If I were to venture a wild guess, it's probably some sort of alternate attack mode. "Go all out, don't bother to defend" or something.

World of Xeen is badass.

I've never beaten it though. I've gotten far a few times, but man that game is so much fun.

You can post what i should do first you know...

...you said earlier that even explaining non-intuitive parts of the graphic interface was spoilery, so I wasn't about to give gameplay advice. :P

Do you have more specific questions? I mean...the beginning is pretty standard: do quests, kill stuff, gain xp, improve your gear. If you want I can give you huge, spoilery stuff you can do in ten minutes that will make the next ten hours of gameplay completely trivial as you cut through the former deadly monsters like nuclear bombs through tissue paper ...but I thought that was exactly the opposite of what you were aiming for.
