If the magma overflows and floods half the fort, we dig again elsewhere in the same plot and rebuild.  If the river floods, same thing.  If we release demons, we fight them back.  If there's a massive fatal tantrum spiral that kills all the dwarves, we reclaim the place.  This game shall never end.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

Major save-uncompatible update came out. It's been just half a year since 31.01, so THOSE halls won't die out any soon.

OK, since Imiknorris didn't finish, I will finish up the year and hand the save over to Creamcorn.
EDIT: Oh wait, he didn't save. I'll do this year up quick then.

Well then wouldn't it be better to just give him his turn, Sense Imiknorris in a sense skipped his turn lol?

Your not playing Dwarf Fortress right if you don't see a message saying a Kitten (tame) had died in some horrible manner over and over again.

So by the looks of it, I've got Arni's save, right?

That would've been nice to know before actually playing Arni's turn. ::)

Bleh, update, I've missed about two days to update this. I was sick with something yesterday and slept like a rock the entire day. Today, I had to stay after school and I've only been here for maybe an hour or so (yeah, DF, not on the highest priority right now). And since learning how to use a computer (herp da derp? what do formating drive C: do?) is mandatory by state, I have to spend two hours after school learning how to "use" one.

TL;DR. This update may or may not happen on schedule but I'll make sure it happens. I'm extending my own dead line to after Monday which is the new the time that if I do not update would be to skip my turn.

edit: I still have something else to do, but it would be nice to get some reconfirmation on what version to use.

Awesome, downloading that version now... on second thought... I've never transferred a save to a new version before.

I'm using 0.12!

>_< I also finally have time (albeit small) to actually play this damn save! Progress has been made today!

edit: I'm also doing this blind
