1st Granite, 1057

Today the boss told me that I was in charge of the fort.

Three things happened today:
Kogsak, one of our swordsdwarves, grew attached to his shield.

The first level and the safe portions of the second were all dug out, and the miners are starting to map the outline of the third.

1st Slate

That jeweler took over the jeweler's workshop (duh), grabbed some rough gems (heliodors, picture jaspers, white chalcedonies) and dolomite blocks, and is heading out to grab some mule leather. I wonder what he'll make...

last screenshot was a dug out room right above the magma pit where smelting operations will commence.

You should still be in the nobles section as the Baroness, unless Imiknorris somehow decided that your life wasn't worth keeping around.
