Nevermind whatever I posted before
HERE'S AN UPDATE!
------------------------------------------------
I’ve just immigrated from the mountainhomes to the great dwarven fort known as “The Eternal Halls” I’ve received the offer to become leader for a year, and having previously heard rumors of its greatness, I could not refuse the offer.
Upon arrival to this fort, I checked the current economic situations and things seems quite sound with a good amount of wealth as well as an abundance of food, drink, and meals.
The population as of now is
4 miners
8 woodworkers
5 marksdwarves
2 woodcutters
9 stoneworkers
1 baroness
9 metalsmithies
8 swordsdwarf
3 guards
A leatherworker, a clothier, a woodcrafter
2 fisherdwarves
Bunch of farmers (that includes butchers/millers/cooks ect.)
3 medical dwarves
2 clerks
9 kids
And…
A god emperor?
(whatever that might be)
With a total population of 84 dwarves
There is one thing however which reallllllly bugs me however, and that is the lack of engineers.
Being an architect/mechanic at heart, I have a weak spot for unnecessarily elaborate designs of both ascetic and mechanical constructions. I will make sure I undergo my soul separating meditation and take over the body of a dwarf I deem suitable for my favorite role.
Judging from the military, I can see that the previous rulers seem to have a liking for marksdwarves and swordsdwarves. I’ve never gotten around to liking crossbows, always preferred to bash things with something solid rather than shooting sticks at my enemies, but I guess they will come useful, judging from the frequency of buzzard raids written in the records of previous rulers.
I see one of the previous rulers have put aside some time to make some decent quality burial tombs. Maybe I’ll claim a room once I get things working here.
The zoo here, although small, is certainly quite entertaining. While there are mostly crundles and foxes for display, there is also a blind cave ogre as well as a certain creature that I took a particular interest to.
I’ve even drawn a sketch of the rather disturbing yet unusually intriguing creature.
The jail is certainly well designed with what almost looks like a giant bloodstain trailing on the left. Now if only they increased the size of the bottom two rooms a bit more...

It looks as if it were designed in the shape of a man’s pride, I mean, it even has milk flowing out from the side.

The kitchen, while a mess, is certainly quite lively.
I see they’ve even established a magma forge base down in the depths.
The previous rulers appear to be constructing a magma pump, but haven’t quite finished up yet. I will see to it that its construction shall continue.
This shall be an interesting fort indeed.
