Can't change the password for the empire in question. So what I've done is pm Timferius. I'll fix it all up when I get a reply. Until then, just gonna keep passing the save around.

Playing this turn took a while and I had to take a break mid-game.

Apparently, the save is now named midgame instead of bay12. Are we midgame yet? Or are we still playing early-game?

I feel as though I am still in early game, but I suppose I have moved on a lot from the good old days of being a 3 planet empire...

According to my reports, accurate to within ~25%, you do. In fact I think you have more planets than I do. And the vast majority of your satellites are on our border. You don't trust me ;_;

No time for an entire newspaper, so just posting a story.

Quote from: Imperial Times
IAV Gurk lost in Malfador system.

The IAV Gurk, a Corsair-class frigate, was lost in combat two days ago. According to Imperial Exploration Corps press releases, Task Force Alpha, a patrol group tasked with securing the outer colonies, picked up a strange life form on sensors. Moving in to investigate, the task force detected sentient minds aboard the mindless creature, suggesting it to be a vessel of some sort. Due to the ongoing colonization efforts in the region, the two-ship patrol moved in to intercept and drive off the invader. Despite showing no visible means of offense, the vessel charged directly at the Gurk, which was able to launch boarding parties bare seconds from impact. The marines, the only survivors of the more than 300 crewpeople aboard, were able to board and capture the severely damaged ship. Memorial services for the crew will be held at Malfador City arena, where the surviving crew of the intruder, which mindrips confirmed belonged to RAM's Commonwealth, will be killed in funerary games, save for a few that were purchased for experimentation with some of our city's more curious residents and/or restaurateurs.

RAM, I swear I this particular ship being destroyed by your empire was pure coincidence.

Mind in pain, assault of senses, a burning light scoring the heart. Protect, protect, protect...

An eye in the depths, an eye alone, an eye lost.

Seek seek seek, see space, see paths, see gas, see a world, see something close, see it charge, see food. Infection spreading, crush, pain, mind dying, devour, see nothing...

"They took control of one of the creatures. The senses are somehow breached. Our borders are besieged. The monsters of this world deserve one another."

As the mass of toughened flesh speeds through the world a pair of foreign objects close upon it. Reacting quickly to the threat it changes course and moves towards them at unnatural speed. One of the objects reverses course. The two remaining entities charge one another. As they draw the mass of flesh opens a great portal, studded within by bony shards, while the other objects launches a slow-moving projectile. Not knowing the threat, the creature ploughs through the projectile and into the foreign object. The teeth shred through a shell and the two craft collide, the force shattering one craft and breaking the other. As the broken craft seeks an escape it feels its senses fading. Connections are severed, its mind damaged, it becomes passive...

Two things.

1. Mayday, is it possible for you to post a system map showing no ownership?

2. I'd really like to see more RP in this thread.

No, the entirity of the Game Master function is turning AI off and on for player slots.

Got a password from Timferius, too. He isn't totally sure it's the right one so I'll be testing that during the next round.

I'm 99% sure it's the right one though, can't think of any other password I would have used for something like this. good luck to whoeve plays my faction, as I had no idea what I was doing when building them. Also ignore the groan worthy nameing...

Remember to account for turn delays when sending messages in-game, kids! If you send a message in 2004.3, the recipient won't receive it until 2004.4, even if he's after you in the turn order!

The only reason that ship was there was because it had almost run out of supplies, and its only value was sentimental. Oh, and I think one component was better than the stuff I was using, but that specific component wasn't important to my strategy anyway.

Seryntas has not responded to me. He hasn't been online since the 10th.
I took the turn, reverted it to AI, and we are proceeding with the game.

Hey, sorry, like I told Captain Mayday, I thought I had PMs from this forum forwarded to my email but it turns out I didn't.

How do I know when it's my turn?  What files do I need to move where to do what?  I've never used Dropbox before.

Alright, so basically the files in question are labelled as:
GAME NAME_PLAYER NUMBER_GAME YEAR_otherstuff.file extension
So Bay12_1_24061.gam was the core game file for my most recent turn.

You will have the files starting as Bay12_5
Copy the files in question to SEV's savefolder. We are using the mod we have placed in the folder Balance Mod v115+ so place this in your Gametypes folder.
You then take your turn.
Remove your turns folders by moving them into the records folder.
Place the next person's turn (my turn) in the main folder.

We're supposed to be in 2406.1? The save you uploaded was 2406.0.

Strange.
I'll upload again. I was sure I didn't make any strange mistakes, though.
