So you're blatantly telling us you picked ancient race and psychic? Good move.

The Psyk'teli always knew they weren't alone in the universe. Before they became addicted to living in a material form, they had spread through the universe. Unfortunately now, they only existed in two systems. However, because of the psychic bond of their people, the three planets developed similarly, and shared all research and knowledge. So it was that in the same year, all three completed the PS (PsiScout) class Scout ships. They feel other sentients out there, soon they would find them, and if they were felt to be equals, the Psyk'teli may find allies. And if they were found to be inferior, slaves.
Seems pretty blatant to me.

Hmmm, it could be explained in RP, they are psychic but never exploited it in their technology or weapons. They are ancient but didn't keep any maps. But it does preferctly match the RPing aspects of the two traits...

A hungry growl was whispered silently into the void across which the eye darted and of which it sang.

I'll give you all one hint. A universal being of energy without form has little care for what's going on in the physical universe. And, in my mind, when such a being takes form, it loses a lot of it's memories, as it is now divided amongst many.

save's up. I'll try to get another newspaper up later. (I won't do one every turn, but I'll probably keep making ones until I get the hang of it.)

This turn was boring. Next turn will be a little more fun. And 2400.5 will be even more so.

:)

EDIT: So is this game moving along or not, Timferry?

Yup, just sitting down now, doubt there'll be much to do, so it'll probably be up in 10.
Edit: faster than I thought, it's up now.

Oh, Boski, please report if you can use the playback function. It occurs to me that playback is a pretty important part of the game and thus far we have been burning the logs. I changed the save's filename so it may not find the log...

I don't know how to use the playback function :(

Or at least, I don't see a button for it in the Log menu.

Anyway, my turn is done.
