I'm not nearly that far in Homestuck and I'm sure I'm not the only one.  Just sayin.

Okay, wait, do you mean that that scene does not exist in-universe or that in-universe Rufio is just an imaginary friend and doesn't exist?

Because the second one is correct and that scene (and the concept of Rufio) does exist in-universe.
