I think it's clear that "another method" can have several close meanings, depending on how you interpret it; as such, CrownofFire has the privilege of using any meaning he wants. He meant "any other significantly different method, such as spoken language", which he is clarifying now.
That being said, I'm not really sure if his post has any point? Because I can only think of two really different "methods": spoken language and written language. So saying "no other language" is a pretty unsurprising thing there. It's like saying, "Okay, here I have a red box and a blue box; every other box except the red box is blue." Well, if you had 10000 blue boxes and 1 red box, that would be pretty impressive, that so many were blue; but otherwise it is not that impressive.
Unless you include kind of weird communications, like pictographs. Okay, I guess you could say that pictographs let you detect feelings through the brush strokes or whatnot, like handwriting analysis... but then, technically, written language also has that. Or I guess you could say "Well, if he draws a picture of a bear, I can tell he's frightened"; but you can make the same argument for someone typing "OH GOD I'M BEING MAULED BY A BEAR".
And there are many of these kind of "methods" that don't let you know what the other person is feeling; for example, a fire-of-Amon-Din-style communication - if the bonfire is lit, then you know Gondor calls for aid, but you don't know what the other person is feeling - and again the assumed "the other person is scared" can also be conveyed through "fires of amn din r lit, tell theoden, am v. scared, p.s. wut r u wearing".
tl;dr 1. CoF can use whatever meaning of "another method" he wants, so arguing over the meaning is pointless
2. Okay, maybe writing is the only method that doesn't let you convey feelings, but speaking seems to be the only method that lets you convey feelings, apparently, so really that's not much of a statement
3. If there are more than 2 methods, could you give an example of "another method"? Preferably, more than one?
