Oh, right. FB's are. Semi-megabeasts aren't. They're creatures that are big and nasty and almost as tough as an FB, but aren't technically an FB. Cave ogres and dragons can take a lot more hits than an elkbird.

Hey, guess what...local wildlife populations are still limited!  :o

I'm not getting anymore wildlife in my caverns. :(

Oh well. At least there's plenty of meat to eat.

Who needs 10x steel disk traps when you can fill the world with magma

I admire the silent beauty in the dance of flying goblin parts. Magma can't give you that.

Limited as in "gone and won't be coming back. EVER."?  :o

I'm actually quite nice IRL, but you people have to pay the price for that.

Now stop being distracted by the rudeness, quit your accusations of trollery, and start arguing like real men!

Silent aside from the beautiful sound of flesh being sliced and the wonderful screams of pain....ahh fuck I made myself sound like a sadist.

You are arguing about the most beautiful way to kill a goblin? I'd say killing in itself is beautiful.

I'd say it killing itself is most beautiful.  Can you get them to do that?  Rather than the old 'fortress inside a volcano', build [cast] a goblin tower inside your own fortress, fill it with goblins and then simulate a siege against them, until they start getting miscarriages, suicides and a melancholy spiral.  See how they like it!  :D

In fact, I'm going to try just that with my next fortress. (!)  I suppose you'd have to build the goblins bridges of their own to jump off.

Various mouths were involved, and a soda can and a penny I think.

Wouldn't they all just rush out of the tower and try to attack you?

Then it's impossible for you to siege them, following their rules.

It wouldn't be exactly the same... they wouldn't run away, for instance.  But you could have an airlock system to make sure none of them find their way into your fortress and kill all your peasants.  It sucks that you can't buy cages full of captured goblin housewives from other dwarves - or even from goblins themselves!

You are arguing about the most beautiful way to kill a goblin? I'd say killing extremely painfully in itself is beautiful.
