I didn't see the trailer... I almost bet it's just the in-game cinematic with a few gameplay clips or something.

EDIT: If the trailer on steam is the same one you're talking about, I am very surprised. They only used one clip of the cinematic, which shows the meteor hitting the base. The rest of it is all in-game.

If you wanna see if your computer runs it

Go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

Find unreal or anything that uses the latest unreal engine.

Note:The unreal engine is quite scaleable.

So is anybody interested in playing?

I wonder if they're going to add new maps or difficulty levels. That would be nice. I played about 2 or 3 rounds the other day with 5 others, and we kept finishing up with about half the time remaining still.

One thing about the welder bots is they can quickly get to critical circuits. =)

Also, I went in the command module which is nice, but isn't entirely necessary especially since everyone has a minimap.

The command module would be more useful on larger maps to coordinate efforts, and it would be extremely nice if you could operate robots from there.

Pretty sure the answer to that question is no. It's quite a fun game, but si nce there's only 1 mission, you're pretty much done with it after an hour or 3

If you want to play a round I'd be up for it.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

It means exactly what it sounds like.  It's an Alpha, like Dwarf Fortress.  It exists to test all their programing and server code and game functionality and stuff.  It is not the finished product, that they will eventually charge money for.  Y'know, it's a tech demo.

When it becomes like Shores of Hazeron, I am so playing it :).

All SoH needs is better models, NASA screenshots for star fields, better servers and a good client which does not lag because it doesn't download everything you see on the fly.

It also needs much tighter controls. Theres a very noticeable input delay, and picking stuff up can drive a sane man mad.

Again, not really. With just one level, it's a proof of concept, not that much of a game. Fortunately, they're releasing a beta of the game this year, so hopefully it will be fun.
