Skyrates is a free MMO that focuses mainly on trading (although there is fighting too).
It was made as a project on 'sporadic play', you can log in once a day and queue up all your actions for a while. You are the pilot of a skyship, trying to make as much money as possible. You can buy high and sell low, fight sky pirates, upgrade your ship, and learn new skills.

I am pretty sure you can be a walrus. They don't have fur.

While airships are universally awesome, those graphics look horrible, and I'm not comfortable about the furries. And yes, walruses do have fur. Somewhere.

Anyway, the graphics seem hard to decipher. As in, they're bad.

So, it's another "starship trader" type game, where you log in once in a while and get experience and goods and stuff for having an active account, and there's always loads and loads of players with more money and better ships than you'll ever have.

Oh well, always good to see another one.  Maybe this will be fun for more than a week, unlike the hundreds of others.  And oh yeah, woo Bay12 guild lets all crush them before/then we lose interest and so forth.
