We've got some communists here who think the whole human race would be awesome if we removed the material incentive to screw each other, that with enough work there could be enough to go around for everyone. We've got some capitalists here who think human progress thrives on material incentive, and if some people get screwed over along the way, then those are just the speed bumps on the road to progress. We've got some socialists here who think we can have all the free market incentive you want, but we could still have a government that takes some of the earnings and makes sure no one loses too badly in the rat race, and they get picked on by everybody. We've got some anarchists here who think they better than everybody, and if economics was down to mano a mano they and their ego would crawl to the top of the heap. We've got some mercantilists here who think it's to everyone's benefit that they support their home nation's domination of the finite scale of international trade. And we've got some naturalists here who think they could tromp out into the woods and do just fine by themselves, and the rest of humanity should get with the program or starve out.
I say screw all that noise. You can keep your graduated income taxes and welfare provisions and personal ambition incentives and shared-ownership by investment. Hierarchical control of capital by warrior nobility to be parceled out as rental property in reciprocal protection for payment is where it's at. Direct, simple, efficient, and infinitely scalable. I'm casting my lot with Feudalism, and I want to know who's with me or against me.
