We have an order of gay knights now? Why would they need mercenaries? They could just ride bareback and use their lances for defense.

I have requested the lease of a mercenary force to serve as a defensive arm for my considerable fleet of trade ships and as security should I find any foreign lands not yet claimed for the king that may need to be stablilized.
As a major arm of the oceanic trade on the western sea, Crangmoor has more than enough money to pay for a sizable force and we likewise have a long abandoned major prison that has since been emptied by executions that could be used as some sort of base of operations for a small force.

At the moment, I've just woken up and began work on the map again. It doesn't matter that the people that own some of the Fiefs left, they still make good decoration for the map.
