Oh, what, now I have competition?
In both mercenaries, AND smuggling?
This bites.

No, while we're quite proficient in delivery. We need mercenaries to man the loads of ships we have floating out in our wharfs in Crangmoor. If you happen to have any shark bait potential sailors I'd be glad to set up an agreement, though I can't see how desert dwellers would know how to work a ship.
Ha ha, now we're hitting on the same level. It's not about transport, but having a place to unload, and store goods is always nice. Besides, a lot of things go missing in the desert, and a lot of things turn up. And with the ever-present threat of bandits, it's so hard to check into profits and expenses when invasions happen often.

But anyway. I happen to have vikings around who seem a bit out of place in the desert, and vikings are all about ships. So, if Ghazkull has an undercommander or something, he could sell some off to you. I dunno, he's in charge of the armies.
In return, I'm sure some of your ships could randomly decide to swing past our port village every now and then while out on a border patrol, or training exercise, or something, yes?
I get it. When the undermanned frigates come around to pick up the viking mercenaries you load up a couple of them with supplies so that the raiders can't mess with them and the frigates could later serve as offshore storage and defense from seafaring attack.

Sound's like a deal .

With the mercenary leader's corroboration I will be prepared to send an initial flotilla of ten ships to meet you on the southern shores to store your goods.

I go away for a day and this thread explodes.

Also, anyone shipping via the high seas may wish to hire some escorts (provided by me of course for nominal rates. payment by transferring serfs is accepted), seeing as how I'm getting reports of pirates be outfitted with Fleet-quality warships.

I was thinking we could set up a trade route. But it'll do.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Added Retro's labeled version of Robocorn's map to the first post of the Paint Adventure.

Still waiting for Criptfeind, and then in a few hours we should be set to go.

Awesome. I've already started.

Can you also put Ghazkull as my Commander in Chief? Or General. Or whatever other title. Maybe Mob-leader. Eater-of-Skulls. Heh.

I was thinking we could set up a trade route. But it'll do.

A trade route would be even easier to arrange, and quite a bit less confusing than the plan I assumed you'd meant.

The ships will arrive nonetheless with my primary liaison to orchestrate a trade agreement on the behalf of our baronies and to arrange a service agreement with Ghazkull whom I presume dwells within your oasis citadel or at least in that general area.

Awesome. Another thing to tack on to my first turn.

I could also do with another, more legal trade route with High Port.

Wow this thing exploded. As far as I know the map is final and any new entity need express written permission from Barbarossa to join. Maybe you people who have no joined yet can join as mercs or something and carve out a fief from the new lands. Or we may be full already, I don't know how we are going to keep track of everyone as it is.

Everyone else will have to get a new Fief from newly discovered lands that will appear in the Paint Adventure. Until then, you're out of luck. We have to stop somewhere.

I don't know how we are going to keep track of everyone as it is.
With The List, of course. you guys know you can add stuff to it yourself, right? (or I can do it if you tell me who you are)

@imperial audit Tack:Yes, it would be too much for just him, but I could send a Ranger or two to do it for him...
And they might possibly come back fat, drunk, and rich.
By the way that really is a nice bracelet you are wearing. What, you're not wearing one? Well then have this one. Why not a second? Gold suits a man of your handsomeness.
Your too kind. :)
But how do you know they're not already there? they're experts at staying so still somewhere you don't see them, and don't necessarily have to ask you about them when theres plenty of other people in the fief to ask.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Heres the Template I made:

And damn, no floating island. In the meantime, somebody want to draw a mountain island based off the Eyrie from the Song of Fire and Ice series? iPods don't have ms paint.

Name it Really Tall Mountain.

I just want an island... there's a group of them in the east...
