The dwarves don't eat, drink and were super fast. As said this wasn't going to be treated as a standard fortress and the actual construction would play no part in it so there was no reason to spend the months it would have taken to construct it. Really It's more about the design then the difficulting in making it.

Even with all that it still took 7 game years to make  ;D

Once more I find myself in need of someone I can e-mail my save file to so my fortress can be rendered. I sent a file to the person who did it last time, but its been over a week and I've not heared back.

Is there any way to use this with a 40d program, and if not are there any big differences between 40d and 39e.

I've found an interesting bug: Goblin fortresses don't show up. All that's there is a large square hole in the ground.
