A lot of email providers won't allow attachments the size of DF worlds.

maybe you could upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/index.php ?  Do they allow temporary posts?

Yep, not a problem.

OMG! Vector I just came! Thanks for posting those! At LAST! I get to view my grand creation in all its Glory! Im surprised the towers and all the 'roofs' came out ok, looks like there is only a single roof section I have to fix, everything else is flawless. Also its good to see the landscape all together.  I swear i'll never get such a huge map again, but it was the only way to get a river stone AND a magma shaft (which is that black bit waaaaaay over on the side)

Crossroads, that fortress fucking kicks ass!  Fuck yeah!

From now on Im not building little piddly 1-tile thick walls.  Im gonna build massive halls with roofs and actual parapets just like yours!

Awesome!

this makes me want to start work on my starship again. All I need is the ability to set buildable Z-levels and I'm all set.

If I not already posted this: I really love 3Dwarf. Many thanks to everybody working on it.

For compensation some alternative human city design:

Here's a picture of my WIP fort! Behold, Axekey! Complete with magma cannon and (an incomplete) cast obsidian pyramid temple to Armok! Labeled for clarity.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Unfortunately the obsidian-under-walls-turns-to-soil bug makes a bunch of my pretty black pyramid turn into... other colors.
