Where do you see an "island" here?

Reasonableman's... where it looks like he dug a moat near a section of river, but it could be an island if theres multiple rivers and brooks converging or something.

I just want to say how awesome this mod is, and that I hope it gets integrated into the main Dwarf Fortress game at some point.

That being said, there's one small thing I'd like fixed.  3Dwarf doesn't recognize colors.  My painstakingly created fortress Icycloisters looks just like any old construction of brick and rock, and not the ivory magnificence of rock salt that it truly is.

About my fort: the only section I had to dig out myself was the foremost one. You can see a couple little bulges where it intersects what used to be ponds. Also, it's not that great a spot, since it's in a temperate zone.

I'm curious how you generate terrain. Do you just use simple geometry or do you use models. If you use models, I can make simple ones and might be able to help you.

The image shows my construction to extract iron from goblins. Works pretty well, but it takes ages until the lava has disappeared from the ground and the fort is accessible again. I'm not sure if it is the best way, but currently I'm constructing a layer of water pools above the lava pools to get rid of the lava on the ground.
I appreciate any advice which prevents me from building another 20 pumps, 70 hatch covers and 250 mechanisms :D

This needs to be updated as soon as humanly possible- the new roads and smoothed mountains demand it!

Does anyone remember/know what to sniff for to find the locations needed for the new client?

I've updated the perl scripts doing the map fetching to be compatible with the latest version and packed them all together to save you guys tedious and error-prone file moving.

However, don't thank me, thank Jifodus for his awesome work on extracting the memory addresses. :)
