Turn (3) Not quite Alone
« Reply #18 on: July 05, 2010, 09:24:21 pm »

Action One: Follow blood trail
You stand up grabbing your metal pole with your left hand, and stack of four sharp bone fragments with your right. Avoiding the obvious bloodbath to the south, you decide to follow the trail of blood to the north. By comparison, this trail seems to be fresher than the caked mess to the south.

You view some stairs to the north. The blood trail heads upstairs. You hear the heavy breathing of some type of creature to the north, one Z level up. The blood on your arms continues to ooze slowly.

Action Two: Look inside cell (Third time)
Your attention shifts to the cell adjacent to yours, again. You look inside once more to try and make out the mysterious shape inside. Your mind centers on the object once more until you feel like it is the only thing that exists in the world. Suddenly, a head appears on the object, pointed ears and gray skin; you can't make out the rest, the creature seems to be clothed and in a fetal position.

You hear silence once more. Your right shoulder is no longer numb. Your arms continue to slowly ooze blood.

Action Three: Investigate what is inside the cell
Not being able to bear your curiosity any longer, you decide to personally investigate what is inside the cell adjacent to yours. Deciding that the door is of the same status of your old room; you ram it with your body charging forward with your right shoulder. The last statement holds only half true; you fall back scattering all of your items. Your body a bit bruised from the action. Never the less, the door leans forward and plops down to the sand, allowing you to enter.

As you approach the creature, you notice that your actions have not caused it stir. Your thoughts stop though when a faint reeking oder wafts into your nostrils. The stench only increases as you draw closer to the creature. Suddenly, you can not take it anymore. You grab the creature by its left (topmost) shoulder and force it over, tearing off a piece of its clothing in the process! It rolls over towards you, strings of flesh cling to its face, the jaw slacks down and its eyes are now gaping holes. Who ever it was, is dead and stinks.... You almost vomit at the sight.

Your arm is still oozing. Specks of blood drop to the ground now. Your entire right arm and shoulder are both slightly bruised and in pain. You feel quite nauseous.

Action Four: Stop your bleeding
Looking at both of your arms, you finally bring your oozing limbs to thought. Seeing as how your former neighbor no longer requires its tattered clothing, you tear off clean bits fabric from its clothing and apply pressure to your arms with the bandages.

Your arms bleed a little less. The pain lessens on your right arm and shoulder. You are slightly less nauseated. You notice writing on the walls.

Action Five: Release other prisoner
You look down at the rotted corpse, nope, not going anywhere. Your eyes shift up, on the walls of this cell reads, "NO Where Safe." None of this is very comforting, you feel nauseated once more.

Your arms are barely bleeding now. The pain on your right arm and shoulder comes only in throbs now. You are nauseated once more.

Explore to the south, away from the strange breathing sound.

Ninteen45 and Acanthus117, because you two are too late for turn four, I will hold a spot for both you.

Your action priority will be the same as both of you have posted. You can decide to change it if you wish after this turn.

"Definetly not alone!" (Turn 4)
« Reply #28 on: July 07, 2010, 12:18:43 pm »

Action One: Rest until your bleeding stops.
You stand in the neighbor cell applying pressure on your arms until the bleeding subsides. As you are standing there, you hear faint thumps in succession to the north west. Your right shoulder and arm lessen in pain.

Your arms are no longer bleeding. The pain in your right arm and shoulder only tingle with pain. The feeling of nausea completely subsides.

Action Two: Pick up pole and dual wield.
With the sudden development, you decide it best to forgo your sharp bone fragments and keep only your heavy (worn) metal pole. You walk over to your pole and grip it with both hands. The damage you can do with your pole has doubled! You hear something heavy dragging against sand to the north.

You hear heavy panting to the north.

Action Three: Pick up pole and dual wield (again).
A sudden feeling begins to overcome your body. You grip your metal pole even tighter, teeth chatter and body sweats. You hear clanking of metal against each other, as if something just got up.

You feel very tense.

Action four: Explore the south.
You sprint south your legs whip up sand every time you step. As you make your fifth step, a loud hoarse sounding voice booms from the north. "Evil creature! Your feeble legs will not carry you far from my axe!" That statement only causes you to run faster. The further south you run, the more your heart beats. Louder, and louder, still louder untill it sounds like your heart will beat out of your chest! Wait... that's not your heart. Your feet suddenly feel wet... you look down, fresh blood. You look south, still; a large fleshy red object that looks more like a glob of ground meat beats and with every pulse rushes out red liquid, most likely blood.

The tension in your body heightens! You begin to feel nauseous again.

Action five: Look for a way out.
It suddenly comes to your mind that there may not be any safe place anywhere! You hear heavy heaving of metal to the north! Your entire body is literally shaking!

You could not be any more tense! You feel very nauseous!
