Yeeaah. WELL. It is still in production... but that doesn't mean we have finished it yet. It's kinda put on hold for a bit at the mo, because we just both got back to uni and got a few freelance gigs. I feel pretty guilty about it. BUT. I vowe it will be done before the end of the... year.
That just in. So... yeah.

"End of the year" means "before DF goes beta." And that's perfectly fine.

then I proceeded to read Headshoots and Syrupleaf (both of which I are, in my opinion, a hell of a lot better than Boatmurdered)

Why? I can understand Syrupleaf for it's mod, but why is headshoots better? The fact it was made in DF3D?

Never seen a fortress resemble post-WWII Germany before.

Ok. You just took a really old and overused meme... And brought it here.

Into this thread.
Go spit on an altar, next, hey?

I'm out.

Actually, my favorite parts of Headshoots were only possible because of 3d, and the writing quality is decent.

The only part that really made me laugh like hell was what they named their superweapon. Specifically, they named it

Well, if you look at it that way, Boatmurdered would have been so much better in 3d. The writing in Boatmurdered was amazing.

Some of it was lacking, but StarkRavingMad and TouretteDog had pretty good runs. Actually SRM had an amazing run.

Too bad TouretteDog hates DF now. Hehe.

No matter the story it is based on, an animation that is based on Dwarf Fortress is bound to be awesome.

if/when this ever gets finished, it is going to be epic. I foresee this being a precursor to

Hey guys! Sorry so much for the media blackout.

So Boatmurdered got put on a bit of a hiatus at the moment. We both got back to uni then I got a billion freelancey jobs and then moved house so it's been hectic as... HECK! BUT! The animation WILL be finished. It may not be for a few months but don't forget us!
We basically have all the backgrounds ready to go then just need to do all the characters and some fangled fx pass.

Have no fear!
