I'm always amused by the "Urist McHillbilly cancels make cheese; handling dangerous animal" - must be a very angry cow...

Just noticed the farmers making one-humped camel cheese - we only have one one-humped camel, and I hate to break it to them, but it's a boy...

No wonder that camel was smiling afterwords.

Nothing too great, but i did get this one a while ago

Urist McSwimmy cancels drink: Dangerous Terrain

Not funny on it's own, but he was actually pinned against the edge of the embark area by a river because he was so thirsty he decided to just jump in. I have no idea how(or more importantly, why), but he stayed there swimming until he died of thirst and would never get out or do anything else. Or drink all the water that was EVERYWHERE.

Water, water, everywhere Nor any drop to drink....

Urist McHitched cancels Get Married: Getting Drink

Glad to see that dwarf knows his priorities.
Pretty sure that's impossible. The opposite, on the other hand, is perfectly possible: "Urist McHitched cancels Drink: Getting married".

One of my favorites is "Urist cancels Go Shopping: Getting married".

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

So this is not technically a cancellation error, but it's still funny. The mental image of this is just priceless

Sadly I have no screencap of that occurence...
I had a rather endless fight with a Giant. He tried to kill an elusive dog whilst my makeshift military proceeded to bruise the hell out of him.
The fight turned rather spectacular after a brave speardwarf attacked the Giant from behind, lodging her spear in his left testicle. She turned the weapon around and the Giant not only lost all his fighting spirit but ended up alternating between vomiting and passing out.

End of the story: "She took joy in slaughter lately."
