Sadly, it's dead.

Unfortunately, I failed to heed the warnings of prior games, and it died the same way all god games die- too much complexity. I still think having your creations run around and do stuff on their own was pretty essential, though.

Also, I think 26 turns is pretty good as far as god games or RTDs go... though I'm not sure if this particular cliffhanger was a good or bad place to leave off.

I've got vague ideas for all manner of things. Probably the most promising, and certainly closest to this, is some sort of god game/tribes/RPG hybrid wherein you're a wizard on a too-small hex map, creating servant races, manipulating terrain, and generally warring with your fellows over limited resources and space.

Not sure I'll run that, but I'd like to, and it's reasonably well planned.
