Right you are, Karus elves went missing. I didn't miss the space fish, I just didn't roll for them, which I've now revised to rolling for their mutation. I might roll for how well they do, but at the moment that's mostly dependent on how well they mutate, so...

Turn 22: Fat Space Fish

Round 4 involves summoning Chuck Norris Proceed to tell him that the Hoz-lings said that he isn't awesome.

Alex attempts to summon a dire entity of unfathomable power. [2] He finds himself unable to summon such a mighty power, and must settle for kicking the Hozling kingdom himself. [3] It's not a very good kick, and he mostly just creates a vaguely frightening earthquake.

I give the one big space fish the ability to grow by eating absolutely anything.

Cheeetar attempts to give his space fish the ability to grow by consuming anything at all. [4] He does so. Awareness [2] The space fish remains unaware of this peculiar property, for better or worse.

Yei'astol attempts to smite the dark elf. [2] The shot goes wide, and a weak divine smite smacks into the crystal planet to little effect.

I give my Aquatic Elves a strict structure for their military. I convince them that clear structures will give them far greater efficiency at killing.

HmH attempts to teach his bugs how to make goo engines. [4] They figure out the basics, but it's a weird concept. Towers [5] They figure out that they're actually easier to build into towers, however, even if they're not really sure what to use them for.
Shadow bugs learn how to make engines that run off goo, easier to build and maintain in towers.

Bob attempts to push all political entities together. [2] Most of them are inside the radish, but different places, and some are outside, and it just doesn't work.

The liquid elf attempts to mess with aquatic elves. [3] It can get them on edge, but it's hard to mess with them when they respond to every incident with a disciplined patrol.

Explore!

The elves attempt to thrive. [6] Their band balloons into a large tribe, living in huts and bungalows. Exploration [1] They find the aquatic elves. Reaction [2] Predictably, they try to kill the interlopers. [5] vs [1] The scouts are ruthlessly beaten and dragged to the lake for questioning. Interrogation [6] Several brutal, drawn out executions later, the aquatic elves begin planning the ruthless extermination of the main elf tribe.

Corrupt!

The crystal vines continue to work their influence. [3] It's having trouble making too much impact on the rigidly disciplined elves.

The shadow bugs attempt to thrive. [5] They grow comfortably spread out, forming a medium-large kingdom. Death Engines [6] Numerous towers spring up bearing goo engines, ready to perform unspeakable and utterly excessive acts of coordinated violence.

The shadow spiders attempt to sabotage things. [3] They're a mild nuisance.

The elves attempt to thrive. [1] Things happen, as they are wont to when everyone's a necromancer. Black Necromancy [6], White Necromancy [3]. They begin crafting abominations from the bones of the slain, while making mild improvements in healing magic.

The dark elf attempts to convert more elves. [2] It's hard to convince others when your old followers are dead. Marriage [6] It manages to marry its way into several elf families, however, ensuring anyone who crosses it crosses a fairly substantial number of elves.

The plants and lizards continue to thrive.

The dwarves attempt to thrive. [3] Their massive tribe begins splintering a bit at the edges, as groups try to find more space. Metal [2] They fail at learning music.

The claw dwarves attempt to thrive. [6] They populate back up to a small band, moving away from the normal dwarves and into a cave. Progress [3] They can't do much about civilization out there, but they try.

Hunt!

The wolfmen attempt to thrive. [1] Various accidents cut down their numbers somewhat. Hunting [6] They begin hunting for the sake of improving their hunting ability.

But...

The pet elves attempt to thrive. [6] They breed well in captivity, and all dwarves love having pet elves. Progress [2] They don't do much but lounge around, get fed, and complain.

Last try

The elves attempt to thrive. [2] They don't. Travel [4] They finally make it to the edge of the mighty forest, and decide to build their permanent settlement there.

The forest continues to grow slowly, and various animals thrive in their shadow, as well as across the rest of the planet to a lesser extent.

The beast worms attempt to thrive. [1] They get lost in the tunnels again, and are too busy crying over what failure worms they are to do anything else.

The white beasts attempt to hunt. [1] They're hungry.

The artist worms attempt to thrive. [2] They're gay. Art [1] At least they create bizarre radish-carved shapes that represent the torment of their souls.

The Karante gazes upon the Shadowcraft with some measure of incredulity. Deeds outside its portfolio had come easier to it than this task that was far closer to its nature.
"Shall we leave it be for the time? I think we shall. Shall we consider the elves? I think we shall."

Set aside the Shadowcraft for later refinement. Turn the land the new Karus elves dwell upon, and a small region around it, into a sanctuary that can only be found by true elves (not aquatic elves or shapeshifter elves or dark elves) and those lead by true elves.
Also, locate Vraccas' GodForge.

Suggestion for Ochita: Grab the Dark Elf and toss it into the void pool of Shere. Either we get rid of the dark elf, or we learn that the pool leads somewhere. Either result is a success, right?
